Some of the best museums in County Durham
Beamish Museum
Location: Beamish Museum, County Durham, DH9 0RG
Rating: 4.5/5
One recent visitor said: “Visited yesterday & took advantage of paying once & enjoy unlimited visits for 12 months.
“So much to see & some developments to look forward too.. Like the 1950’s area. Had the opportunity to talk with some staff (from the live stock team) who took time out from their lunch break to talk with visitors like us. What a difference great people can do for an organisation like Beamish.
“If you haven’t visited Beamish or visited recently, then we certainly recommend a visit at some point this year.”
