Death Notices
Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 11th of June, 2023. After many years of ill health, he’s finally at rest. A service will be held at Harlow Crematorium on June 29th at 16:30 for close friends and family. Please email [email protected] if you wish to pay your respects. We are not accepting any flowers, instead, donations can be made out to the British Heart Foundation.

Passed peacefully on 22nd May at Heron Court Nursing Home aged 89 years. Husband of the late Olive Capon and loving Dad to Graeme, Janice and David, sadly deceased in 2001. Papa to Beckie, Tanya, David, Laura, Daisy, Poppy, Gypsy and Summer and their children Alfie, DJ, Ted, Abraham, Toby, Eleanor, Rosa and Evie. Loving Mother to Lynne, Paul, Mark, Lee and Toni, Grandma to Kerry, Georgia and Willow and Great Grandma to Macie, Annabelle and Dexter. Her artwork will continue to be cherished as a testament to her talent and passion.
Lilian’s compassionate nature extended beyond her artwork. She had a heart of gold and dedicated her time and energy to charitable causes, making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. Her selflessness and commitment to helping others inspired all who knew her. Family and friends were paramount to Lilian’s happiness. She cherished her loved ones and nurtured strong bonds that transcended time and distance.
Lilian’s warm presence and genuine interest in the lives of others created an atmosphere of love and belonging, leaving a lasting impression on all fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell to Lilian, we find solace in the memories we shared with her. While her absence leaves a void in our lives, let us remember her vibrant spirit, her unwavering kindness, and her unyielding love for life. (Lol) Lawrence (Lol) Potter Born in Hulme, 21.12.46. Passed away peacefully at home in Essex 10th June 2023. Dearest Dad to Angela and Jean, Granddad to Mia, Abbey and Scott and Great Granddad to Ruby and Alice. He was a wonderful man, generous, loyal, funny and kind. His love, affection and zest for life was felt by all those close to him. He will be so sadly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends. 17/07/1948-11/06/2023 Sadly passed away aged 74 on the 11th June at Farleigh Hospice. Loving husband of the late Christine, much loved dad to Lisa and Simon and grandad to George and Sam. He will be greatly missed by family and friends but is reunited with his beloved wife again. Funeral to take place on the 10th July 10.30am at South Chapel of Chelmsford Crematorium. Formerly of Mildmay Road, Chelmsford. Died peacefully at Bourn View Care Home, Birmingham on 5th May 2023, aged 94 years. Service in Memory at Our Lady Immaculate, New London Road, Chelmsford on Friday 30th June at 11.45am. Remembered always in our hearts.
(Harry) Sadly passed away on 2 June 2023, aged 72 years. Dearly loved and missed by all his family. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday July 11th at St Mary the Virgin Shenfield at 2pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
