Evil killer who murdered his wife, kids and three others dies in Yorkshire prison

A man who stabbed his wife and their two children, plus three more victims, killed himself in an Yorkshire prison.

Damian Rzeszowski, 37, was jailed after stabbing to death six people. However, now a string of failings have been identified in the lead-up to the 37-year-old’s death after he was found hanging in his cell at Full Sutton prison.

Evil killer Rzeszowski stabbed to death his wife Izabela Rzeszowska, 30, who had been having an affair and their two children Kinga, five, and Kacper, two. He also killed his father-in-law, his wife’s friend and her daughter, reports HullLive.

Rzeszowski brutally stabbed all his victims multiple times during the attacks in St Helier, Jersey, in August 2011. He was seen chasing his wife down the street before killing her – before he stabbed himself in the chest and collapsed.

Members of the public tried to intervene, but were unable to save her. Rzeszowski he received life-saving surgery and was later jailed for 30 years for manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility. He was moved to the maximum security Full Sutton prison in 2013.

Took his own life

An inquest into Rzeszowski’s death was held in Hull last month. After nine days, a jury concluded that he took his own life on March 31, 2018.
