Fundraiser launched in honour of tragic Great Barr motorcycle victim Fizan Nadeem
A GoFundMe which has been set up to raise money to build wells in honour of tragic motorcycle victim Fizan Nadeem is reaching its target. The 24-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision on Walsall Road, in Great Barr May 13.
His devastated friend Mohammed Akram organised the page so the money could go towards constructing wells and other charitable projects in honour of Mr Nadeem. At the time of publication, 200 kind-hearted donors had pledged £11,375 of the £12,500 target.
He wrote: “He was 24 years old leaving behind a loving family, a newly married wife, a lot of friends who classed him as an older and a younger brother, now we as his brothers can’t do much for him now as he has departed from this temporary world, but maybe we can raise enough funds to build a few Wells amongst other charitable events in Pakistan in his good name, and maybe we can make his next life a little more comfortable in the form of Sadaqah Jariyah.
