Hamilton puts 120 on NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team

A total of 120 Hamilton College student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2023 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
 
2023 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team Release
 

Student-athletes from 12 teams (baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s rowing, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field) were eligible for NESCAC all-academic recognition. The team honors sophomore, junior, and senior varsity letter winners who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. 
 
Ben Coffey ’23, Billy Geach ’23, Sam Cagnetta ’23, Maddie Hong ’23 and Sarah Moore ’23, who earned all-academic team honors, made the all-conference team in their respective sports. 
 
Katlynn McGivney ’23, who earned all-academic honors, made the all-conference team and secured a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Team. Alessandra Priante ’24 earned all-academic honors and made the NFCA All-Region Team.
 
Ryan Connors ’25 earned all-academic honors and was selected for the Golf Coaches Association of America PING All-Region Team.
 
Michael Ghiorsi ’23, John Myles ’24, Lauren Holtzman ’23, Clarissa Hurley ’23, Sarah Sandison ’23, Samantha Smith ’23 and Joey Weiland ’23 were recognized on both the NESCAC all-sportsmanship and all-academic teams. 
 
The NESCAC, established in 1971, is comprised of 11 highly selective colleges and universities located in the Northeast. The NESCAC sponsors 27 conference championship sports (13 for men and 14 for women).
