How they finished in 2022/23: Women’s County Leagues (2/3)

East Riding – AFC Preston took the title after only one defeat in 22 games, to finish seven points ahead of Hall Road Rangers.
Essex – It was a Stanway one-two in the Premier Division, as Pegasus topped the table by two points from Rovers and step up to the Eastern League. Toby Ladies won all their 17 matches by the conclusion of the Division One campaign, to end up nine points better off than Leigh Ramblers. Emerson & Upminster remained unbeaten in securing the Division Two title, Chigwell were second.

Gloucestershire – An undefeated Bitton won Division 1 and go up to the South West League along with Bristol Rovers Development and Gloucester City, who were second and third respectively. Cheltenham Civil Service clinched Division 2 ahead of AEK Boco Reserves, Division 3 winners were Bristol Ladies Union with Southmead Community Sport runners-up.
Greater London – Actonians Reserves topped the Premier Division ahead of Comets and are promoted to the London & South East League. Leyton Orient only dropped two points in beating Brentford ‘B’ to the Division 1 North promotion place, Hammersmith pipped Tooting Bec on goal-difference in Division 1 South. Impact had a 100% record in Division 2 North as they saw off title rivals Hilltop, AFC Wimbledon Development were Division 2 Central & West champions followed by South London Reserves.
Greater Manchester – Mancunian Unity will compete in the North West League next season after dropping only two points in winning the Premier ahead of Atherton Laburnum Rovers. No-one defeated Salford United as they won
Division One with Boltonians second. Crompton finished ten points clear of Flixton Lionesses at the top of Division Two.

Hampshire – AFC Portchester won Division One by just one point from Bournemouth Sports Reserves and Eastleigh Reserves but all three go up to the Southern League, along with sixth-placed Fleet Town. Moneyfields Reserves beat Basingstoke Town to the Division 2 title, Havant & Waterlooville won Division 3 in front of Gosport Borough and gained an accelerated promotion to the Southern League. Millbrook were unbeaten as Division 4 champions with Wight Eagles second, Grange and Southampton University were Division 5’s top two,
Division 6 saw Paulsgrove top by a 14-point margin from Clanfield.

Canada Life Isle of Man – Corinthians were champions with maximum points with Peel a comfortable second.
Jersey – Rozel Rovers were clear winners, 14 points better off than both JTC Jersey Wanderers and St Lawrence.
Lancashire – First and second in the Premier, Fleetwood Town Wrens Reserves and Bury FC Foundation both go up to the North West League. Championship winners Bolton Wanderers Reserves won all 18 games to leave Blackpool Development a distant second. Lancaster City beat Whitehaven to the Division 1 North/West title, Horwich St. Mary’s topped Division 1 South/East with Euxton runners-up.

Leicestershire – Asfordby Amateurs LG&I won all their 16 games in Division One, Desford and Nuneaton Borough – second and third respectively – move up to the East Midlands League. Thurmaston topped Division 2, two points ahead of Marlborough Rovers.
Lincolnshire – Stamford won 21 out of 22 games with the other drawn, they and runners-up Skegness Town now promoted to the East Midlands League.

Liverpool – FC St. Helens were unbeaten in their Division 1 title triumph as they advance to the North West League. Wirral Phoenix had to settle for the runners-up trophy. MSB Woolton pipped Southport to the Division 2 title on goal-difference, FC Northern beat Hesketh to first spot in Division 3.
