ITV Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford cheekily addresses ‘feud’ with Coleen Nolan

Ruth Langsford has referenced the reported feud between herself and Coleen Nolan on Loose Women.

The pair are rumoured to be ‘feuding’ fairly regularly, with stars of Loose Women saying the two have disliked each other at one point or another. Last year, the ITV programme was hit with the news that panellists were not getting on behind closed doors, including Judi Love and Stacey Solomon who were reportedly refusing to work with Coleen.

It all comes after the Blackpool-born star’s agent Melanie Blake called fellow Loose Women panellist, Nadia Sawalha, a ‘witch’ on Twitter back in 2020. Ruth Langsford has previously spoken out in frustration in regards to the feuds that have been bubbling over on the show, saying “somehow people just love to pit women against women”.

However, Ruth has now directly addressed the rumours, making a sarcastic quip on today’s show (May 16). As the rest of the panel discussed blind dates, Coleen queried whether she would trust the other women on the show to choose a blind date for her, eventually deciding that she would.

In response, Ruth said: “‘I don’t know we might be feuding at the time.” Laughter erupted at the jibe and Ruth added: “If we’re feuding it would be a really horrible [choice of a blind date].”

Coleen said she would trust her co-star to choose a blind date for her and Ruth pretended to write down her words to prove she said them. The presenter then replied: “Watch this space.”
