Joseph Nee and brother hit with injunction after gang-related activity

Joseph Nee and his brother have been hit with a gang injunction by Merseyside Police.

Nee, 36, has now been released from prison after he was chased into Olivia Pratt-Korbel’s home on Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, and shot at by Thomas Cashman on August 22 last year. He was recalled to prison for breaching the conditions of his licence in relation to a 45 month sentence for burglary and dangerous driving.

Since being released he has now been hit with a gang injunction by Merseyside Police, along with his brother Jason Nee, 33. The order was put in place at Liverpool County Court on Wednesday, May 17 and will be in place until 2025.

The conditions of the order means that Joseph and Jason Nee can’t see or communicate with people who have been named to them by Merseyside Police, except when in a private residence. Police have confirmed they will not be releasing the names of the people on the list.

The Nee’s are not able to have more than one phone or sim card, which must be registered. They also can’t directly or indirectly threaten to use violence against any person/property including via phone or internet, or ride or be a passenger on any electrically powered bike or scooter, quad bike, motorbike, scrambler bike, trial bike, or any other type of two wheeled motorised bike within the county of Merseyside.

Any breaches of the prohibitions can result in either of the men being arrested and taken to court. Merseyside Police say they’re proactively targeting gang-related activity in the Dovecot area and recently launched EVOLVE Liverpool-Knowsley.
