‘Much loved’ aunt who died on holiday among those remembered in Gazette death and funeral notices

Born in Dormanstown, people may know her from Zetland and Warwick schools or one of the many jobs at Redcar icons, such as The Jazz Club, Pacittos or Welford’s Bakery. On Thursday 15th June, Bryan Desmond Pearce passed peacefully in his sleep at Alice House Hospice, aged 82 years. Peacefully in hospital on June 11th, Gordon aged 89 years of Billingham. Much loved dad of Christine, Stephen and the late Michael and father-in-law of Lesley, Christine and the late Keith. Dearly loved grandad of Lee, Claire, Charlotte, Kerry, Darren, Richard, Olivia, Stuart and Lauren and loving great-grandad of Hollie, Brandon, Sophia, Dominic, Emilia, Seb, Sophie, James, Amira and Jay also a dear brother of Barbara and Barry. Service to take place at St. Cuthbert’s Church, Billingham on Monday July 3rd at 1:00pm prior to interment at Billingham Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church, family flowers only any donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Research UK.
Mary Agnes Woodward (Russell)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Agnes Woodward of Guisborough, who died peacefully in hospital on the 14th of June 2023. Much loved mam to Ian and Dave, nana to Christopher, Steven and Sarah, and great nanna. Church service to be held at St Nicholas Church Guisborough 22nd of June 11:15am followed by a funeral service at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if wished in lieu of flowers to The Great North Air Ambulance service. Always remembered, forever missed.
