THE dad of an A-list Hollywood star says he’s struggling so much with money he’s had his cafe repossessed.

Clinton Pugh, 64, whose daughter is Hollywood actress Florence Pugh, said he won’t be asking her for help.

The Don’t Worry Darling actress, 27, who has starred alongside the likes of Harry Styles and Emma Watson, has helped her dad out with some cash before.

But Mr Pugh says he won’t ask for any more – even though his Oxford business Cafe Tarifa has been repossessed.

He’s putting his other two cafes – Cafe CoCo and Kaz Bar – up for sale.

Mr Pugh blames the Low Traffic Neighbourhood in Oxford for putting customers off and ruining his business.

The LTN scheme sees residential streets blocked with bollards and planters in a bid to reduce traffic.

Clinton – who has four kids including Florence and Game of Thrones actor Toby Sebastian, 31 – said the LTN had cost him £110,000 in lost earnings.

He told the Oxford Mail: “The government stopping its funding for LTNs is a true indication that lots of mistakes were made and these LTNs have been pushed through based on ideology which unfortunately wasn’t thought through.”

He wants the council to compensate businesses, adding that LTNs had created “extra stress”.

Mr Pugh had previously spoken about not relying on his family to help him out anymore.

He told MailOnline: “I can’t guarantee my family can support me – why should I have someone else pay for me, get me out?

“Thirty-one years sitting in this restaurant, I remember my children coming up, sitting at the bar, coming in on a Friday afternoon with other families, with Florence, it’s very upsetting.”

A council spokesman told the Oxford Mail: “LTNs are part of the county council’s local transport and connectivity plan, designed to improve travel and transport.

“They are intended to make residential streets safer and more comfortable for walking, wheeling, and cycling.

“As part of the central Oxfordshire travel plan, they are designed to work together with other measures to reduce congestion and improve air quality.

“The LTNs already in Oxford will continue to be monitored by the council.

“The East Oxford LTNs area is still in a trial period, and subject to a county cabinet decision later this year.

“Although the online consultation on the East Oxford LTNs has now closed we encourage people to continue sharing their feedback with us.

“This feedback will contribute to the reporting that will be presented to cabinet for decision.

“We currently have no plans to introduce any more LTNs areas in Oxford but we continue to monitor the overall situation carefully to understand travel and traffic behaviour across the city.”
