Nottingham woman takes ‘huge risk’ in opening new wellbeing studio to ‘make a difference’

A woman who took a ‘huge risk’ to leave her job and set up a wellbeing studio has explained she just wants to make others feel good. The aim of the new studio, in Arnold, is to ‘make a difference to people’s lives.’

Charlotte Hashim is due to open Pure Wellbeing on Calverton Road on June 25. She has 16 years’ experience in the industry, having worked as an employee wellbeing consultant, a fitness advisor and in Occupational Health for Nottinghamshire’s Fire Service.

The mum of two is also a personal trainer and has a degree in Sports, Fitness and Coaching from the Open University. Now, Charlotte has said it’s a ‘dream come true’ having her own studio.

She said: “I’ve always had a clear vision of what I’ve wanted my studio to look like.

“I spent just 10 days sorting out the website, ordering the kit – I knew what I needed to do. I have PT clients from years ago who have come back to me and I can’t wait to just crack on.”

In a ‘chilled’ environment, there will be pilates classes for £8 a session where you don’t have to book in block, chair-based activities, personal training sessions for £30 and a 12 week fitness course for £120. Charlotte continued: “I’m providing exclusive services for everyone, I don’t want people not able to afford to look after themselves.”
