Police launch CCTV appeal following van thefts in Henley-on-Thames

Thames Valley Police has released an image of a man officers wish to speak to. Police beleive that this person may have vital information about thefts from vans in Henley-on-Thames.

At around 1.15pm on April 18, a vehicle pulled up next to a van parked in Phyllis Court. An offender got out of the vehicle and walked over to the van before the vehicle was driven away.

The offender tried all of the van doors before forcing them open with a tool. They then passed multiple garden tools to another offender before leaving.

Vans parked at Henley Rugby Club in Marlow Road, Henley-on-Thames, also had tools stolen from inside them on the same day.

PC Natasha Kennedy said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises this man to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about these thefts. If you are the man pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.

“I appreciate the picture’s quality isn’t great but I hope it is enough for someone to recognise the man’s face or his clothing. To contact us, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43220439288.
