On May 19, 2019 we lost a very dear friend. It has shaken us to the core. Chris was one of those guys who was like the glue, he brought everyone together. His death made a great impression on us. The band was in shambles and this album is the first time I feel like I’ve made a whole album, a whole idea about the world crumbling around us and the journey back. Although this is a very personal journey, I feel like everyone has a Chris Black in their life. Or at least I hope everyone has a Chris Black in their life. That friend who has a way of doing everything right and making everything fun. The one who keeps you in check when you wander and is always there to celebrate the good times and support you through the bad times. Chris Black changed my life.
