Sabai Sabai Restaurant Opens Fifth Location In Solihull

Sabai Sabai Restaurant Opens Fifth Location In Solihull

If you’re looking for vibrant and exquisite Thai food in Birmingham, Sabai Sabai should be your first port of call. Opened in Moseley in 2003, the much-loved award-winning restaurant has built a strong reputation as one of the best Thai restaurants in the West Midlands over the past 20 years. Simply put, it’s Thai-riffic!

It would take nearly another 10 years before husband and wife team, Torquil and Juree Chidwick, opened its Harborne restaurant in 2012. These days, however, you can enjoy Sabai Sabai’s toothsome Thai recipes all over Birmingham and beyond, with locations in the City Centre and Stratford Upon Avon. As of recently, residents of Solihull can also get in on the enjoyment as their fifth Thai restaurant in the West Midlands on Station Road.

“We are thrilled to introduce Sabai Sabai Thai Restaurant to the wonderful community of Solihull,” said Torquil. “We have always wanted to open one in Solihull, where we live, and have been waiting for the right site for a long time.”

“Being an independent family-owned business, this is a huge West Midlands success story. It’s our passion and dedication to bring the true taste of Thailand to Solihull. Our aim is to offer an upmarket and chic restaurant that the local community will love. This is the restaurant the people of Solihull have been waiting for.”

The 90-seater restaurant combines the rich traditions of Thai cuisine with contemporary flair, creating a menu with an extensive selection of dishes. Expect an explosion of flavours that transport you to the heart of Thailand. Signature dishes include Beef Short Rib in a Massaman; Jumbo Black Tiger Prawns char-grilled and topped with a delicious creamy Tom Yam sauce; and favourites such as mouth-watering curries, a selection of salads, wok fries and the famous Pad Thai.

Torquil’s wife, Juree, who emigrated from Thailand when she was 11 years old, added: “Chef Chai, who has been with the business for 15 years, has put immense effort into creating a dining experience that captures the true essence of Thai cuisine, showcasing its vibrant flavours and the spirit of Thai hospitality. We look forward to welcoming guests and sharing our passion for exceptional food.”

Sabai Sabai also offers an elegant bar area where guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, carefully curated to complement Thai cuisine. Make sure you ask for the Dragon Punch or Thai Star Martini! To learn more head here.
