Sky Sport Italia report that Thomas Partey has given the go-ahead for a transfer to Juventus, which could go through for a figure in the region of €18-20m.

The Serie A side are willing to offer Partey a three-year deal, though they’re waiting to see what happens with Adrien Rabiot first.

Rabiot’s contract will expire at the end of the month, but he’s still reviewing an offer to extend.

While Rabiot delays, Juventus bosses are looking at other options, including Partey.

Fabrizio Romano reports that as it stands, though Saudi approaches for Partey are concrete, they remain in the initial stages. The player’s priority is European football.

If Partey does go to Saudi Arabia, the three clubs reportedly interested in him are Al-Ahli Saudi FC, Al-Nassr FC, and Al-Khaleej.

CBS Sports report that Al-Nassr and Al-Khaleej are reportedly the more advanced of the Saudi trio, but Al-Khaleej are only offering an initial loan with an obligation to buy later.

By contrast, Al-Nassr are prepared to offer a €30m transfer fee to sign Partey on a permanent deal, so you’d imagine Arsenal would prefer to deal with them.

In terms of potential replacements, Arsenal are pursuing a number of midfield incomings, including Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia.

There’s also interest in Moises Caicedo, though there are conflicting reports over whether the Gunners are still in that race or not.

You’d think a serious Arsenal move for Caicedo would be contingent on whether they could agree a high fee for the sale of Partey first.
