STAMFORD — A class of about 140 students at the Academy of Information Technology & Engineering in Stamford graduated from the school on Tuesday afternoon.
Graduate Laurel Fuda, the student council president, was chosen to deliver the senior class speech for the school, the district’s smallest high school and the only one that serves as a magnet, accepting students from all across the city and surrounding districts through a lottery.
Senior class president Ella Macpherson was picked to deliver the pledge of allegiance, and graduate Sarah Barry to perform the national anthem during the commencement ceremony.
