‘Strange’ forecast issued by Irish weather expert for Saturday

‘Strange’ forecast issued by Irish weather expert for Saturday

It has been a mixed bag over the last few days when it comes to the weather, bucketing rain one minute while the sun blasts the next.

Unfortunately, one weather expert has suggested that this weekend isn’t going to be much different, with both Saturday and Sunday bringing sunny spells as well as some rain.

Alan O Reilly, posting on his page Carlow Weather, reported that Saturday would be a “strange” sort of day, with a lot of clouds and a little bit of rain. Sunday however, will be a mix of “sunny spells and heavy scattered showers.”

In a post on his Twitter page, O’Reilly wrote: “Tomorrow will be a strange sort of day, warm, very breezy with a lot of cloud but little rain. Up to 26C with best of sunny spells in east.

“Sunday will see a band of heavy rain clearing East in the morning followed by mix of sunny spells and heavy scattered showers.”

Met Eireann’s projections are somewhat similar, with the national forecasting predicting that Saturday will begin a “warm, humid and breezy” day with a great deal of cloud and some rain and drizzle throughout the day.
