The Gallows Pole viewers issue demand to BBC after series ending
BBC Gallow Pole viewers have demanded a new series after a “fantastic” end to the show.
Shane Meadows’ new series has come to an end and while the story reached a climactic point, it’s fair to say fans have been left wanting more.
The three-part series is based on a novel of the same name by Ben Myers, which tells the story of the Cragg Vale Coiners, led by David Hartley.

Last week viewers saw David gather his family and friends and explain he has brought some tools from Birmingham giving them the potential to transform everyone’s lives.
He gave them a demonstration in the art of coin clipping, a method of forgery which uses slivers taken from several real coins to make a counterfeit version.
During tonight’s final episode of the BBC Two show the gang met up on the day of the heist and Grace is impressed when David gives a strong speech to rally the troops.
They later set to work, targeting the corrupt clothier and stealing the contents of his safe. Meanwhile, David also tries to make amends with Grace, the love of his life.
Viewers watching at home couldn’t get enough of the show as they demanded a new series after the dramatic end.
