Uruguay vs England LIVE: Young Lions aim for another win in Under-20 World Cup

England will look to take full control of their Under-20 World Cup group when they take on Group E rivals Uruguay this week.

Ian Foster’s depleted Young Lions got their campaign for a second title off to the perfect start following a 1-0 win over Tunisia.

The Young Lions got off to winning start in Argentina

Tottenham starlet Dane Scarlett, who spent the season on loan at Portsmouth, scored the winner to secure England all three points.

England, who won the 2017 edition of the U20 World Cup, now only trail Uruguay on goal difference after they thumped four past Iraq.

Another victory would put the Lions on the cusp of the knockout stages where they would then find their ranks bolstered by the players currently unavailable due to club commitments.

Uruguay vs England: How to follow

This Group E match will take place on Thursday, May 25.

Kick-off at the Estadio Unico Diego Armando Maradona in Argentina will take place at 2pm UK time.

Fans can catch the entire Under-20 World Cup on the Eurosport Player – Eurosport costs £6.99-a-month or £59.99 for the annual pass.

The best of the post-match reaction will also be live across the talkSPORT network throughout the tournament.
