Football League World have reported this week that the club are keeping tabs on four players with experience in the Championship, mainly with Rotherham United’s impressive stopper Viktor Johansson.

Also named in the report is Fulham ‘keeper Marek Rodak, Preston North End’s Freddie Woodman, and Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow.

The Championship is going to be a tough division to get out of next season and the club need to be investing in proven quality for the EFL.

Aside from Darlow, Leeds are looking at up and coming ‘keepers in their mid-20s here and all of those have been top performers in the Championship previously.

Should Leeds be in need of replacing Meslier, fans won’t be too keen to see another major risk taken with a left-field signing.

Bringing in any of these would have fans on board instantly, knowing they have all been very good players in the division we’re heading into.
