Vivian Rose Randall, age 88 of Calhoun

 Vivian Rose Randall, age 88 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, May 12th at AdventHealth Gordon. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Beatrice LeClair and Victor Germain. She resided in New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Griffin, GA, and Eaglewood, FL before moving to Calhoun in 2005.

Early in life, she worked as a hairdresser. In Griffin, GA, Vivian would visit nursing homes, giving haircuts to residents, and conversing with the ladies. Vivian enjoyed serving in the Griffin Elks Lodge Lady Auxiliary where she was second vice-president. She was also recognized for over 500 hours of volunteer service in the Gordon Hospital Auxiliary.

Vivian’s pastimes included: playing Cribbage and Hearts; working Cryptograms, crocheting blankets and “booties” for the family and seniors at the nursing home, cooking, and swimming in the community pool.

Vivian is predeceased by her husband, Thomas H. Randall, Jr.; and son, Brian S. Randall; her three brothers, Norman Germain, Roger Germain, and Richard Germain.

She is survived by her sisters, Lorraine Shuman, and Doris Hish of California; Her two sons, Thomas Randall III, and his wife Tina of Abingdon, MD, Gary Randall and his wife Debbie of Lexington, VA, and daughter-in-law, Therese Randall od Calhoun; her seven grandchildren, Melinda Randall, Gary Randall, Jr., Bethany Farver, Christian Randall, Jordon Randall, Evan Randall, and Kara Randall; four great-grandchildren, Emery Farver, Miles Randall, Murphy Randall, and Reese Randall; four step-grandchildren, Menika Marshall, Sean Dufour, Cale Dufour, and Christina Rivera; and four step-great grandchildren, Liam Dufour, Alastair Rivera, Sean James Dufour, and Frances Jane Rivera.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 20th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Archer, and Tom Randall officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20th at Thomas Funeral Home from 2 PM until the service hour of 3 PM. The family will also receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
