(Morpeth) We are very sad to announce the passing of Dereck at home on Thursday 15th June, aged 76 years, after a short illness. Dereck was a much loved Dad, Grandad, Brother and Uncle and will be greatly missed by all his family in Australia and the UK. Dereck showed great strength and dignity, remaining positive until the end. He will remain in our hearts forever. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Macmillan for the fantastic support they provided over the last few months. Dereck will be cremated at 8.45am on 26th June but as per his wish, no Funeral or Memorial Service will be held.

David Atkinson for conducting the Funeral Service and a grateful thanks to W. Lauderdale Funeral Services for their professional and caring service. Nellie spent the last 7 years of her life at Wallace House and it is with heartfelt thanks to all the staff there for making this a true home for Nellie where she was loved and treated with such dignity and respect. Nellie was a great example of a good human being. May She Rest In Peace
