Fire and Security Matters Awards 2023: Winners announced!

THE WINNERS, Highly Commended and Commended entrants for the Fire & Security Matters Awards 2023 were announced at a gala ceremony held on Thursday 15 June at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Organised by Western Business Media in conjunction with the Fire Industry Association and supported by Fire Safety Matters and its sister publication Security Matters, this year’s Fire and Security Matters Awards broke records, duly attracting just shy of 300 entries, with 640 guests in attendance at the ceremony.

The gala Black Tie evening – underpinned by Headline Sponsor Aico – featured a brilliant comedy set from Hugh Dennis, a silent auction orchestrated to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity, a casino and a live band.

In addition to Aico, the event sponsors in 2023 were Apollo Fire Detectors, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, Dynamic CCTV, Dynamic Fire, EMS, The Fire Safety Event, FFE, Hyfire, Kentec Electronics, the NCAB Group, The Security Event, Siderise, simPRO Software, Tio Fire Safety and Uptick.

Industry supporters of the Fire and Security Matters Awards 2023 were ASIS UK, BAFE, the Independent Fire Engineering and Distributors Association, the International Foundation for Protection Officers, the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, the Institute of Strategic Risk Management, the National Security Inspectorate, the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board and The Security Institute.
