Scott, 19, has made 91 appearances for the Robins despite his tender age.

The midfielder has managed to notch seven goals and provide seven assists while catching the eye of Premier League clubs in the process.

West Ham are thought to be weighing up a £25million bid for the England youth international but will face competition for his signature.

Liverpool and Tottenham have also been touted as long-term admirers of Scott.

However, according to talkSPORT, the Hammers will face more immediate competition from Wolves and Bournemouth.

West Ham boss David Moyes is preparing for life post Declan Rice as he is expected to leave the club this summer, with Arsenal leading the race for his signature.

The Hammers have a good track record of signing players from the Championship with Jarrod Bowen, Said Benrahma, Michail Antonio, Flynn Downes and Aaron Cresswell all making the step up.

Many of them even helped the club to the Europa Conference League trophy last month, with Benrahma and Bowen netting in the final.

Wolves may be interested in the skillful midfielder as a potential replacement for Saudi Arabia-bound Ruben Neves.

Liverpool have scouted Scott in the past, but are thought to have cooled their interest.

However, Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson has previously insisted that Scott will not be allowed to leave the club for cheap.

He told Bristol World: “It’s got to be more than £25million, he shouldn’t go for less than that.

“Since he made his debut for us he’s played 80-odd games, so he’s been a regular.

“People talk about second seasons-itis where players get a drop-off, I don’t think we’ve seen that at all, I think we’ve seen him push on.

“He’s managed to continue his development with a pretty steady upward curve over the two years he’s been here now. That speaks volumes not just about his ability but his temperament too.

“He’ll go on to really big things, I’m sure about that.

“He’ll play at the top, he’ll play for a top side, there’s no doubt in my mind about that, whoever makes a proper bid at some point, it’s going to have to be a really big bid to get him.”
