Premier League clubs’ most expensive season tickets – including one charging £3,000

Fans of some Premier League sides will have to dig particularly deep for season tickets this summer – with one charging as a much as £3,000.

As the countdown to the 2023/24 campaign continues, it has emerged that just three clubs have frozen their season ticket prices, with none lowering them, despite the cost of living crisis.

Seven clubs’ most expensive season tickets are beyond the £1,000 mark, while some have even scrapped certain concessionary rates and altered the qualifying criteria. Nine clubs offer digital-only season passes, with only some exceptions made for fans who don’t own smart phones.

The research, carried out by The Athletic, reported that Fulham offer the most expensive season ticket, with a seat in the club’s new Riverside Stand costing £3,000. An under-18 seat in the same stand will cost just £500 less.

The other clubs that offer tickets in excess of four figures are Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham.

That list does not include Chelsea, who are based in one of the most expensive areas of the capital. The three promoted clubs – Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton – offer the cheapest season tickets at £500 or just over.
