Since first stepping into the limelight as the eldest child of then-Prince Charles and Princess Diana all the way back in 1982, Prince William has firmly cemented his place in the hearts of the nation for over four decades.
From family adventures with his parents and grieving the loss of his mother, through to finding the love of his life, Kate Middleton and becoming a parent himself, the British public have been cheering on William every step of the way.
