Welcome to the seventh installment of the Seacoast Athletes of the Week for the 2023 spring sports season.
This week, and in weeks to come, you can vote for a girls athlete of the week and a boys athlete of the week.
This week’s poll is for outstanding athletic accomplishments during the week of May 22-27.
How do I cast my vote?
Voting can be completed through two ballots listed below. Voting begins Monday, May 29 and closes midnight Thursday, June 1.
How do we learn who wins?
Winners will be announced in a story published on Friday, June 2 at seacoastonline.com and fosters.com.

BOYS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
Anthony DiMartino, St. Thomas Aquinas, lacrosse
DiMartino scored five goals and added two assists to help power the Saints to a Division II win over Windham, 9-4 last Tuesday. DiMartino added three goals and five assists in St. Thomas Aquinas’ 19-3 win over Souhegan on Friday.
Elliot Miles, Portsmouth, baseball
Miles had four hits – a home run and three doubles, and knocked in seven RBIs in the Clippers’ Division I win over Nashua South, 11-5 on Friday.
Ryder Aubin, Dover, baseball
Aubin had four hits and three RBI in the Green Wave’s Division I loss to Memorial 9-8 on Monday, then homered and had three RBI in Dover’s 9-5 win over Goffstown on Friday.
Nathan Mikulsky, Exeter, track
Mikulsky finished second in the 800 (1:58:36) and was part of Exeter’s 4×800 relay team that came in first place with a time of 8:09.61 in Division I state meet on Thursday. Exeter placed 10th.
Ty Hussey, Marshwood, baseball
Hussey struck out 10 batters, allowed four hits across seven innings to lead the Hawks to a Class A South, 10-1 win over Bonny Eagle on Thursday.
GIRLS ATHLETE OF WEEK NOMINEES
Charlotte Marston, Portsmouth, lacrosse
Marston scored four goals which included her 100th career goal, and one assist as the Clippers picked up a 16-4 Division I win over Concord last Monday. Marston had a goal and assist in Portsmouth’s 19-9 win over Dover on Wednesday.
Hailey Strong, Spaulding, softball
Strong delivered a strong performance on the mound by allowing just one hit and recording eight strikeouts to lead Spaulding to a 14-0 Division I win over Bedford last Monday.
Gracy Spirito, Oyster River, sotball
Spirito had four hits and four RBIs to help guide Oyster River to a Division II win over Laconia, 15-6.
Charlotte Koutalidis, Winnacunnet, track
Koutalidis, Winnacunnet junior, finished second in the 1,600 (5:23.53), was fourth in the 800 (2:21.24) and ran the anchor leg of the 4×400 team that placed fifth (4:10.21).
Maddie Fitzgerald, York, softball
Fitzgerald had five hits and four RBIs in the Wildcats’ 18-0 Class B South win over Cape Elizabeth last Wednesday.
